Holiday for 2 weeks..do nothing at home. Keep on get scold by mom coz of sitting in front the comp too long.

WHAT TO DO?! My home does not have anything intresting to do. Most is just housework..

Keep on surf the internet for some programs..watch some movie on ppstream..and play some games. Looks likes it just take some time but I open my computer from 9 a.m to 6 p.m..sometimes till 9 p.m..and I really didnt realize that the time passed so fast like *....*

Making water rocket..

It was totally fun last week as my class was chosen to enter the water rocket competition. My physics teacher teaches us about the water rocket and the real rocket.

Water rocket was totally easy to make. Just need some patient since it need to be nice fitted and structured. So.. here are some pics...

Conficker Virus ~ April Fool Shock!

April 1st..where people fooling around..and the internet were fooled with funny Ads..But actually the conficker was active..

Allrite..back to topic..I was also shocked by this news from internet that the virus had spread from East to West in about just 1 day..Woah!..

The Symtom that you may get is :

-Account lockout policies being reset automatically.
-Certain Microsoft Windows services such as Automatic Updates, BITS, Windows Defender, and -Error Reporting Services are automatically disabled.
-Domain controllers respond slowly to client requests.
-System network gets unusually congested. This can be checked with network traffic chart on - Windows Task Manager.
-On websites related to antivirus software, Windows system updates cannot be accessed.
-Launches a brute force attack against administrator passwords to help it spread through ADMIN$ shares, making choice of sensible passwords advisable.
-Port 445/TCP scanning (A/B)
-Multicast UPnP requests
-High-port TCP and UDP P2P Activity
-Abnormal DNS lookup activty

Alright..now i got 1 new programs which it does really improve "a bit" (better then nothing) of my internet connection which I am using the Malaysian "Best" ISP as what I called it as SCREAMYX or STEAMYX..hehehe..as usual..i did complain alot after using this ISP.

Alright..now..let me introduce you a masterpiece program..(jokes lol) the cFosSpeed..

Now..I am going to tell you what is this program for..

::What is cFosSpeed::
*cFosSpeed is a network driver, which attaches itself to existing Internet connections. It then optimizes data transfer by means of Traffic Shaping.
Traffic Shaping is a method for optimizing the Internet traffic. It allows maximum speed while ensuring minimal Ping.

*You can use cFosSpeed with a router and/or a DSL-modem or cable-modem. You can also use cFosSpeed with other types of Internet access, ie. whenever you already have an existing Internet connection.

*cFosSpeed supports a wide variety of connections, like DSL, cable, ISDN, UMTS, etc.

Normal data transfer:
Data reception needs to be confirmed (ACKnowledgment packets) before new data can be sent.


No Traffic Shaping:
ACK packets are stalled and delayed by a simultaneous upload. As a result, the download is slowed down as well.

ACK packets are prioritized in the upstream, allowing the download to continue at maximum speed.


::My Review::
► This software has 30 days of trial before you can purchase it for USD$11 for lifetime license... thats cheap!!
► Requires a few days to 'learn' about your surfing/dowloading habits of your PC so that it knows your maximum upload rate to fully utilize your bandwidth.
► My webpage viewing has loaded about 3 times faster... especially http://www.pcmag.com/ which used to take forever to load!
► My torrent downloading has been maxed out at 97kbps (on my 1mbit streamyx line)
► My Skype has become clearer but the file transfer behavior has changed. It used to be that last time the file transfer is full speed when not 'voice calling'. But now, you have to do 'voice call' to get full transfer rate. When sending file, it starts slow (as I am chatting with my friend). I had to hang up then call again then the speed will be maxed out approx 20~25kbps. Which is good cos I can chat and send files at the same time!
► My downloads from RapidShare has been able to max out at 105kbps (it used to be really really slow... but for some reason, from certain servers, its really fast now)
► System resources take about 8000~10000k memory so it doesnt really bother me. Firefox takes 100000k~
► Cool speed monitoring skin... looks like a Windows Vista app (Liquid Crystal)
►This does not boost p2p the way you think it would. Its not like VPN where you get unthrottled torrrent-ing. It just lets you surf the web/chatting/online gaming and p2p at the same time without bandwidth bottleneck or lag.
►There is no settings that need to be tweaked. It works right out of the box. It takes about one week before the software can be fully accustomed to your network usage but you can speed it up by uploading a 10mb file to your e-mail. You may choose to tweak the settings if you want higher priority for certain programs like World of Warcraft, you wanna give it higher priority just go to the settings. Its very easy to understand

Ok..since i got
